High school football is officially in full swing, which can be seen by the pretty hard hitting action in this clip from YouTube that recently took place in the beautiful state of Utah. Christian Young of Viewmont in High School suffered what has to be one of the most bizarre and unfortunate hits of all time.
After breaking about three tackles immediately upon receiving the hand off, Christian’s helmet was pulled around and spun backwards giving him absolutely zero peripheral vision.
The results of a running back sprinting full speed with no way of seeing are exactly what you would expect. He got rocked. Young can be seen running hesitantly forward, while adjusting his cap, when all of the sudden… boom! Poor kid. But still, great effort all around.
